Privacy Policy
How Desverso collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use www.desverso.co.uk or work with us, under UK data protection law.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains how we handle personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
Who We Are
The data controller is Desverso LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Washington, USA, with its head office at 2135 112th Ave NE, Suite 201, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA. Contact us about privacy at info@desverso.com or on +44 20 3977 7596.
The Data We Collect
- Enquiry and contact data: your name, email address, phone number, business name, website and the details you send us through our forms, live chat, email or phone calls.
- Client data: billing details, project information and correspondence needed to deliver and invoice our services.
- Website usage data: if you accept analytics cookies, pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at our site.
- Advertising data: if you accept advertising cookies, information that tells us whether people who saw our LinkedIn adverts went on to contact us.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not ask for special category data (such as health information).
How We Use It and Our Lawful Basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To deliver, invoice and support the services you buy — performance of our contract with you.
- To keep accounting and tax records — legal obligation.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising — your consent, given through our cookie banner.
- To send occasional updates, only if you opt in — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
International Transfers
Desverso LLC is based in the United States, and some of our service providers process data outside the UK, so your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where UK law requires safeguards for such transfers, we put them in place. Contact us for more information about the safeguards used.
How Long We Keep It
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Client and billing records: 6 years after the end of the project, to meet legal and tax requirements.
- Analytics data: in line with the retention settings of the analytics tool, at most 14 months.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). To use these rights, email info@desverso.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access restrictions on our systems.
